Amy Gee
I am currently working towards my Masters in Social Work and look forward to working with you. I have extensive experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for treatment-resistant depression, as well as caring for those from our community in the hospital’s Behavioral Medicine unit.
I am passionate about helping others acquire tools to reach their mental health goals, including for individuals, couples, and families, especially children and youth. I am deeply motivated to empower and help young minds learn skills that will educate and enable them to excel in all areas socially and emotionally into their adult life.
My approach is strength based with an emphasis on attachment and relationships, utilizing methods including CBT, DBT, SFT and play therapy. I also recognize that trauma can manifest in a variety of ways and I want to help you on your journey of self-healing, discovery, and positive growth.
From me you can expect warmth, compassion, and a determination to guide you through whatever concern or life transition you are ready to tackle together in a safe and supportive environment.
When not working, I adore spending time with my young son, husband, and two small fur babies. I enjoy the musical theater community in St George and try to be involved in performing projects when I can.
Amy sees clients in our St. George office and via telehealth.
