Candice Musgrave
Hey! My name is Candice Musgrave. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix. During my educational pursuits, I worked as a 911 dispatcher for almost a decade. That line of work sparked a passion for working with trauma, and a focus on working with first responders to assist with their mental health needs.
I specialize in trauma and attachment-based issues. I utilize somatic-based and Gestalt interventions to reconnect the mind, body, and parts with compassion and the absence of judgment. I believe that everyone has strengths within them that can get buried during adverse experiences. There was a time when I too had to rediscover my inner strengths following trauma. My goal is to walk that journey of healing with you while helping you discover how powerful you truly are.
In my off time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children creating memories and experiencing life. I am a plant mom, and find a sense of peace nurturing living things. I also love riding my motorcycle, during nicer weather of course. There is a sense of freedom and clarity that comes with riding that draws me in.
I feel there is importance in being authentic and building a connection of trust. I look forward to joining you on your journey, and committing to your growth!
